Driving across to Formby Beach, the fear of wind and rain was growing. It had been raining as I left my flat in Manchester and I was really hoping it would clear up. I'd been looking forward to this session for a little while, and while I love the rain, I hoped the weather would grant me the chance to photograph this session in the sun.
I think it must have been Diana and Kempis. I can't imagine it ever rains around them. They, both as individuals and in their relationship, radiate warmth, kindness and fun. Diana and Kempis have known each other for a long while but have only been together for around a year and a half. They are so perfect together, each bringing their uniqueness to create a beautiful relationship.
Formby beach is an incredibly beautiful location for a photoshoot. I've photographed there once before and I remember thinking that I wanted to have so many more shoots there. It's an incredibly versatile space and would be perfect for couples/engagement, family, parenthood and individual photoshoots. It is so special when the weather is good and is only an easy hour's drive from Manchester. I'm hoping to be able to photograph more couples and engagements at the beach for next year because it's truly magical.
